Glenn Phillips

…has been building things practically his whole life. He got his first paid construction job at the young age of 15 in Palm Beach County, where he grew up. Having built his first structure, a two story 3,000 square foot barn, at the age of 17, he’s had ample experience building things with wood, metal, trusses, nails and a hammer…Today he is still building with that same hammer and tool belt (see the picture below), but he builds beautiful places for people to live and make memories, and he often does it with a phone and plans in hand. From a dream - to a plan on paper - to reality. We truly do help people make their dreams come true.

He’s a Dad

Glenn is dad to two daughters. One is a recent college grad and the other is in high school. He has always enjoyed bringing them on the job site since they were babies…often getting their hands or feet “set in concrete”, riding the tractor to clear lots, helping to sweep out job sites to keep clean, and now his youngest runs errands and submits plans at the building department for him.

He’s a Family Man

Glenn has been married to his lovely wife, Wendy Lyn for almost 30 years. Together they have experienced great success as entrepreneurs. Wendy’s background is in communication, marketing, sales, and media. Today, she works with G. Phillips Homes while also still running her own company, Wendy Lyn Unlimited. Wendy stays very involved with her girls and in her community. The Phillips family loves to travel.

He’s Involved

As a member of the local HBA (Home Builders Association) since 2003, Glenn also serves on the Board of Directors as the Vice President. He loves working with the youth at his local church - teaching the senior high boys and mentoring many. He volunteers at numerous local high school shop classes, and supports many causes: Habitat for Humanity, Life’s Choices of Lake County, and Mount Dora Christian Academy to name a few.
